Terms of Service

These terms set out how Ambitions First Education provides early learning and development sessions. By booking a session you agree to them.

1. What We Provide

Ambitions First Education provides play-based early learning and development sessions for young children, in small groups, at our learning rooms. Sessions are offered as regular programme places, drop-in stay and play sessions, one-to-one learning support, sibling places, holiday learning days and single taster sessions.

2. We Are Not a Registered Nursery or School

We are an early learning and development provider. We are not a registered nursery, pre-school, childcare provider or school, and our sessions do not constitute formal education, childcare or supervision for the purposes of any statutory scheme.

3. No Guarantee of Developmental Outcomes

Our sessions are planned around each child’s stage and are intended to support early development through play. We do not promise or guarantee any particular developmental, educational or behavioural outcome, and any progress notes we share are observations rather than assessments.

4. Bookings, Fees and Refunds

Fees are payable in advance for each session, block or day booked, at the prices shown on our Programmes page. If you cancel more than 48 hours before a session we will offer a credit or a refund of that session fee. Cancellations within 48 hours and sessions missed without notice are not refundable, because places are held for a small number of children. If we have to cancel a session we will offer a replacement session or a full refund.

5. Children’s Information

Information about your child is provided by you as their parent, guardian or carer, and is held with your consent. We keep only the information we need to care for your child safely, such as their first name, date of birth, allergy and medical notes, and emergency contact details. You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us, after which we will stop using the information and delete it unless we are required to keep it.

6. Supervision and Behaviour

Children remain the responsibility of their parent, guardian or carer before and after a session. During drop-in stay and play sessions a grown-up stays with their child throughout. A child may be asked to leave a session if their behaviour puts other children or our team at risk.

7. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, our liability for any loss connected with a session is limited to the fees paid for that session, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page applies to any session you book after it is published.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
